3.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

Paid memberships are offered on a rolling subscription basis (e.g. monthly or annual). By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the initial subscription fee and any subsequent renewal fees. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it.

3.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, please log in to your account dashboard or contact us. If you cancel, your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account will revert to a free tier or be deactivated.

3.4 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you decide The Voltas is not right for you, you may request a full refund of your initial subscription payment within 14 days of the transaction date. To request a refund, please email enquiries@thevoltas.com.

After this 14-day cooling-off period, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused content.

3.5 Price Changes

We may change our subscription prices from time to time. We will provide you with reasonable notice of any price changes via email. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. If you do not agree with the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

4. Acceptable Use and Conduct

You agree to use The Voltas only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Share your login credentials with any other person. Membership is for individual use only.
• Scrape, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of our website or content without express written permission.
• Upload or transmit content that is offensive, defamatory, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
• Use the service to distribute viruses, malware, or unsolicited promotional material (spam).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these provisions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by The Voltas, including text, graphics, logos, resources, and code, is the property of The Voltas or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use whilst you have an active membership.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform, such as journal entries, comments, or profile information ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant The Voltas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content in connection with the operation and promotion of the service. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to grant this licence.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep The Voltas up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages. We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or withdraw the service for business and operational reasons, such as maintenance or security updates.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

To the extent permitted by law, The Voltas shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms
