Free members get a verified public profile listed in the member directory, access to the events calendar, and the ability to read all published journal articles. It's a real membership, not a trial. The toolkit and journal contribution rights require an Affiliate or Researcher plan.
Affiliate and Researcher members receive a verified badge that confirms their professional standing within The Voltas network. It's a public record, linkable from a portfolio, added to a proposal document, or referenced on LinkedIn. Clients and collaborators can verify the badge directly. Researcher members carry an additional publication record alongside their badge.
The toolkit is available to Affiliate and Researcher members. It includes five utilities: the Proposal Builder (professional proposals with IP protection and payment terms), Budget & Cashflow (financial tracking for project-based income), Studio Ops Generator (SOPs for project onboarding and delivery), H&S Logbook (digital compliance logging for installations and events), and the Business Health Dashboard (revenue and pipeline overview).
Affiliate membership gives you full toolkit access, the verified badge, and directory search. Researcher adds the ability to contribute to and publish in the Voltas Journals: a short, practitioner-led, peer-reviewed format. If you're producing work that belongs in print (methods, pipelines, cross-discipline outcomes), Researcher is the right tier. If you primarily need the operational tools, Affiliate is sufficient.
